Re: Are low-grade fevers normal in recovery

Although I may not have any answers I wanted to add to this post because "I too worry about the low grade fevers" my son is now 14 days post KD and almost everyday has been running temps of 99-100, and it makes me wonder if the Doctors need to look closer at this for post KD patients.

Re: Post KD/IVIG side effects

I definitely feel your frustration on the lack of knowledge and guidance we receive as parents regarding KD, ESPECIALLY post KD. Re: Struggling to Get KD diagnosis please help!

DEMAND an ECHO, no if's and's but's about it, she had all the classical signs of Kawasaki and with that being said they should be better safe than sorry and do one. Kawasaki (in a mild form) can go away on it's own but that doesn't mean it can't do any damage. Shame on them for discharging you witho...

Re: Advice please

My opinion as a mother and the research I have done on Kawasaki (since my son of 17 months had it) is PUSH HARDER, it is mentioned in several articles that far too many pediatricians miss it due to it being so rare. I would demand bloodwork, have them test his CRP (C Reactive Protein) his SED Rate a...
