Anyone have any experience on what to expect?
My then 7-year-old had Kawasaki over Christmas/New Year's 2013/2014. We live in Seattle and thankfully he was diagnosed very quickly w/atypical kawasaki. He received IVIG and aspirin therapy within the window, but he still developed aneurysms. So Friday is our first catheterization.
Of course he is worried about the anesthesia, and I realized tonight I am worried about the whole procedure, too. It's like we've become used to the regimen of warfarin and aspirin all year and having this brings it all back. Can anyone share what their experience with catheterization was like?
