This is the kind of information the Dr's do not tell you about or "choose" not to share. "Although coronary vasospasm has been described in young adults with a history of KD....." Really!? First I heard of it.
Sounds a whole lot like the symptoms some of the young adults on this forum are experiencing:
- syndrome of chest pain at rest
- most episodes in early am hours
- exercise tolerant
- pain felt under the chest bone
- pain can spread to the throat, neck, jaw, shoulder, or arm
- occurs most often in people with high cholesterol and high BP
Thanks for this post. When I bring Wes for his consult with his new cardiologist I will ask about the possibility of him having CAV pain.
