I can't help but think that with all the new genetic research and with all the countries involved in it that they will soon come up with a way to detect which kids will be IVIG resistant. Even if they don't figure out what triggers it or the whole picture, wouldn't it be great if they could at least figure out which kids would be IVIG resistant? I'm not sure what they would do though----maybe start immediately with steroids or perhaps figure out a way around the problem with a new trick of some sort........hhhhmmmmm............
